How do I go about getting an Adena Retiree?
It is important that we meet with all our new owners and discuss their intentions for the horse. If you decide that you would like to purchase an Adena retiree then follow the contact information and we will be happy to answer all your questions and set up appointment to view and meet the horse. Horses are not sold sight unseen all potential new owners must meet the horses in person.
We have sold horses from Peterborough Ontario to New Mexico. All of our new owners have ridden their horses before taking them home.
What is the cost?
Generally the prices vary. There is a minimal fee for every one of our horses to ensure they are going to a responsible caring home. Some horses are more expensive as they have had more groundwork training for their new jobs. Being aware of the current market for horses our prices are very fair and affordable.
Why did this horse retire?
The horses are retired for different reasons.
Some are retired because they are older and have raced enough.
Some are retired because they have minor soundness issues that will not hold up for racing training.
Will my new horse be suitable for what I want?
Adena springs tries to match up every new owner with the right horse depending on what you want your horse's new job to be from Pleasure trail riding to showing. It’s got to be a suitable real match.
